If Obamacare Stays, Liberty Goes

Whether Obamacare stays or goes is a watershed event. If the government can require you to buy its medical insurance policy, there will be no restraint on what it can require in the future. If you refuse to buy a Volt or install a solar collector, you could be fined for excessive use of fossil fuels. If you undergo an expensive operation at an advanced age, you could be fined for wasting medical services on someone with a short life expectancy. If you fire an employee because you don’t like him, you could be imprisoned. The America that valued liberty will no longer exist. We will exist to serve the government’s interests.
